Our story

Bluebells Day Nursery

Was opened in 1987 in memory of my husband Rob Blewett. He died suddenly from a rare form of cancer at the age of 24.

The name Bluebells devised from Blue as in ‘Blewett’ and Bells for my nickname ‘Hellsbells!!!’.

We are still a small family owned business. Twenty years on, and I am still as proud and passionate about providing personal and excellent childcare. We have earned an enviable reputation of being one of the most sought after Ofsted OUTSTANDING nurseries in Wirral.

Our staff retention rate is high and we put this down to careful selection and dedicated training programmes. We also provide a fun and happy environment which benefits the children and the staff who work for us. 95% of out staff are fully qualified and 100% of our staff are First Aid trained. We are the first nursery on the Wirral to have achieved ‘Millie’s Mark’.
